Evaluations

As with any program, a means of evaluating itself is critical to the continued growth and development of ET Partners. For this reason both students and faculty are encouraged to fill out surveys chronicling their participation in the Partners program each quarter. The results of these surveys are then analyzed as a way to gauge the effects of the partnerships and help us to improve our services. Periodically during the quarter both partners are asked to answer a set of short questions addressing their feelings on the program at the time. These allow us to keep open lines of communication with those involved in the program. In addition two short surveys, a Computer Skills Survey as well as an Computer Attitude Survey, are currently being used as evaluation tools to indicate the successes and drawbacks to the program. To be most effective both forms need to be filled out twice, once at the beginning of your partnerships and again at its conclusion.

Evaluation of the program has been presented at:

Surveys for Faculty Partners (coming soon)

This site will focus on web-based surveys and evaluations for the Departmental and Faculty Partners. Faculty Partners will be asked to complete two surveys as soon as possible to provide a pre-program picture of knowledge, skills and attitudes. They will be simple, Likert scale, questions that you can complete in a few minutes. The results are confidential; only aggregate data will be released as part of the program evaluation. The Faculty partners will be asked to complete these surveys again at the end of the program.

The surveys are just a part of the overall evaluation process. There are other evaluation tools, such as free-form discussions and other feedback, and evaluation of progress of projects.
